Delta sleep-inducing peptide is a nonapeptide first isolated from rabbit cerebral venous blood. It increases delta-wave sleep, modulates the hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis and reduces cortisol in stress models.

Used in sleep-architecture protocols, particularly where slow-wave sleep is reduced.
